Hi! I’m Chris Smith — co-owner of First In Pools and some may say the most handsome half! 😁 I’m the guy who takes “leave it better than you found it” to a whole new level.

I got my start in the pool industry as a commercial equipment technician, working on everything from water parks to college and city rec centers. Today, my passion lies in the transformation—turning a pool into something clean, safe, and truly enjoyable for every customer. 🏊‍♂️

When I’m not perfecting pools, I serve as a Driver Engineer 🧑‍🚒 with the Dallas Fire Department, where attention to detail and service to others aren’t just values—they’re a way of life. That same mindset carries over into First In Pools: it’s not just about the work, it’s about building trust and lasting relationships with every customer.

For me, success means providing a service people can rely on—and if customers feel taken care of, then the job’s done right.

Outside of work, my life revolves around what matters most: Faith. Family. Friends. You’ll usually find me spending time with my wife and three boys, volunteering at my church, ranching, shooting sports, and enjoying everything nature has to offer.

Hello, I’m Andrew and I’ve had the privilege of working for First In Pools since 2023. I have a strong background in industrial water treatment, where I managed chemical treatment processes, wastewater systems, and filtration for a stainless steel fittings company. Through these experiences, I cultivated a level of precision and commitment to safety that carries directly into how I provide pool service, maintenance, and repair work. I’ve been moving, treating, and filtering water since 2017 and it shows in the way I approach every project. Since working for First In Pools, I have developed a passion for pools and providing customers with a product that they can be proud of.

I am a member of the Dallas Fire Department and serve the city of Dallas as a firefighter/paramedic, where I show the same reliability, discipline and care to my community members and patients. When I’m not spiffing up pools or chasing fire 🔥 , you can find me spending quality time with my wife and two boys or out on the lake fishing! 🎣

👋 Hi, I’m Aaron Hardman and I am a Dallas Firefighter/Paramedic and new pool cleaner with First In Pools.

I believe that trust is the foundation of any successful relationship, which is why I pride myself on being a person of my word. I’m a hard worker who isn't afraid to dive into the details to get the job done right. While working I apply a diligent and thoughtful approach to all my jobs. My motto for life is “I’m third” meaning God first, others second and I come third. I believe these beliefs align perfectly with First In Pools and is one of the many reasons I enjoy working for the company.

Outside of the fire station and cleaning pools I enjoy watching sports, attending concerts, and spending quality time with my family and friends.

With over 20 years of experience working with large-scale filtration and circulation systems, Kyle brings unmatched expertise to every pool he touches. From commercial pumps and chlorinators to complex plumbing manifolds, he’s built his career on precision, hard work, and results.

But what really sets Kyle apart is his passion for people. He knows pools can be a lot of work, and he takes pride in helping homeowners take that stress off their plate—so they can spend more time doing what matters most: enjoying their pool.
