Ever wanted to know what a clay bar is or why I use it in my detailing process?
A clay bar is either a natural or synthetic resin used with a lubricant such as detailing spray to remove contaminants such as industrial fallout, rail dust, tree sap and tar from the paint in order to have a contaminant free and smooth surface. It’s an imperative step in prep before applying protectant.
It’s completely safe and also really allows your protectant to shine further due to the clean surface created and gives the “glass” or “wet” look to your clear coat.
