WHAT IS THE BEST BASE MATERIAL TO PUT UNDERNEATH YOUR VINYL LINER?IN A VINYL LINER SWIMMING POOL?
In my 50 years of swimming pool construction and refurbishment it has to be a well done mixture of Vermiculute and Portland Cement. Provides a non abrasive, pourus, smooth base for best results. Of course, it helps to have years of experience doing it. I have personally trained my crew in troweling our pool bottoms you know, I must say they're outstanding at it. For the best, long term product for a longer lasting liner, a vermiculie/cement base is proven.
