So I've taken a few pictures thus far at Seaside. I have a few more odd jobs to do here this coming week, as we've added many things along the way. I'm going to try to list everything I've done here. I've been at this property on and off for about 4 months in between others, and it's been a big part of what I've been doing the last few weeks. Another gentleman I work for took a big contract with the owner, and I've been working for him on jobs on this property, and working for the owner himself, as well.
I helped Bill with some of the construction on the 3rd floor, getting the walls up, strapping the ceiling, and many other projects getting it to the point of being finished and needing fine detail.
Starting in the basement:
Installed dryer vent x2 (one basement, one above on 1st floor with 2 separate vents).
Installed and reassembled washer, and installed dryer.
Installed 150 insulation hangars
Installed 2 bike racks (into concrete wall)
I also was on standby for his massive furniture delivery, although lugging furniture is not my gig, there were things to be done while they were doing it; removing railings, coordinating, teardown, etc.
Insulated & spray foamed gaps.
1st, 2nd, & 3rd floors:
Sealed and painted fireplace
Once the painting company was done here, there was still quite a bit that he wanted gone over again, and many areas that needed touchups, mudding and sanding, and repainting (I would say that I painted 2/3 of this place again, after it was finished). Not a small place. 🤓
Cabinet color match
Hung every single shade in the place.
Power washed the entire exterior, blasted out the gutters, and did the soffits, and windows. Took the screens out and did them on the ground.
Sealed existing elevator whole to second floor, framed in, sheetrocked, and mudded.
Remounted 2 crooked toilets.
Hung every single towel bar, toilet paper roller, mirrors (lighted mirrors).
Hung all of his handmade custom paintings.
Hung 2 picture frame TV's
Sanded and sprayed outside railings black.
Installed rock bed at rear of house & trimmed shrubs back so everything is symmetrical, and touched up mulch beds with some fresh mulch.
Fixed broken fence out back.
Rebuilt section of garage railing.
Stained and polyurethaned 2 new railings, and hung all 6 after painting was complete. Some had to be repaired as the original install hadn't hit stud with all the screws.
Hung very nice mirror above the 3rd floor vanity.
Cut 2 piece door to open above newly installed carpet on the third floor, touched up, and rehung.
Did multiple dump runs.
Reset the stone steps out front as the were crooked, and reset a few pavers.
There are probably about 15-20 other things left out of this post. I've put quite a bit of time in here. Not a cheap place, everything had to be just right. The owner has an eye for detail, and the fact that he kept me on to make sure the fine detail came out as he wanted says it all to me.
Here are some pictures of the property at Seaside. It is absolutely beautiful.
Will be back here again to further insulate attic space, and hang Sheetrock, and seal some of the draft from the attic as this property sits right on the ocean.
