Mosquitos are not an uncommon sight in and around Lubbock homes, particularly during the warmer months. While they are most active in the summer, they have started appearing earlier this year with the recent rain, making themselves a nuisance as they find their way into backyards and through windows and doors to breed in any standing water they can find.
