These bags are definitely able to be recycled. It just some effort to collect / handle them in the proper way. They can be taken to the grocery store collection bins just like the grocery bags.

Recycling can be a little complicated as it is—it’s never as easy as throwing plastic in a plastics recycling bin. Most curbside recycling programs don’t accept plastic bags, for example.
