First off, I just want to say I’m sorry I haven’t been very active on here lately. Life has been BUSY busy, and I feel like I’ve been running around with 47 tabs open in my brain at all times. 😂

Between work, family, everyday life, and trying to keep up with everything, this page has been a little quieter than I’d like. But I promise I haven’t disappeared!

As if my life hasn’t been busy enough, I’ve somehow have had a little bit of time to create something new and fun behind the scenes. 🖍️✨

Introducing my handmade recycled crayons! 💕

These crayons are made by melting down crayons and giving them a whole new life in fun shapes and designs. I’ve been making different colors, styles, and seasonal shapes.
These take me HOURS to make but I enjoy it so much. 🥹

They’re perfect for:
• Birthday party favors
• Classroom treats
• Stocking stuffers
• Holiday gifts
• Kids’ activity bags
• Or just because regular crayons are apparently too boring now. 😂

Each batch is handmade, so colors and patterns may vary — which makes every one a little unique!
With that being said, EACH CRAYON is customizable, including colors and glitter. I can’t promise how the colors will blend when melted down but the chosen colors will show beautifully.
Each and every one of these crayon is SAFE AND NON-TOXIC!

Pictures below are some of the requests I have gotten from customers. I’m excited to start sharing more of what I’ve been creating with you guys. Thank you to everyone who continues to support my little business, even when I go MIA for a minute because life is life-ing. ❤️

Stay tuned because I have lots of cute crayon designs coming your way! 🖍️

🎃 BONUS!!

Because I’m introducing these into my business now, you have a chance to win a HALLOWEEN goodie bag with 2 crayons! ❤️

❤️ COMING TOGETHER FOR OUR COMMUNITY

Earlier this year, families in our community were faced with the unimaginable after a tornado took so much from them. Now it’s our turn to come together and show them that they’re not alone. 🫶

Jazz & Shine LLC and H&S Designs have teamed up to put together a special basket that we’ll be donating to the upcoming benefit! 🎟️✨

The basket will be raffled off at the event, so you’ll have the chance to purchase tickets, win some goodies, AND most importantly, help support the families who lost so much. ❤️

We’re so incredibly grateful to be able to contribute in even a small way. This is what community is all about — businesses supporting businesses, neighbors helping neighbors, and everyone coming together when it matters most.

A HUGE thank you to H&S Designs for teaming up with me to make this basket happen! 🖤✨

Please come out, grab some raffle tickets, support the benefit, and help us show these families just how much their community stands behind them. 🙏❤️
Like, comment, share this post! ❤️

Every ticket. Every donation. Every share. It all makes a difference.

GOOOD Morning everyone!
It’s Fri-YAYYY!! ☀️

✨ A Little Introduction — The Face Behind Jazz & Shine LLC ✨

Hi everyone! 💛 I realized that with some new faces following my page, it was probably time to re-introduce myself and share a little bit about the person behind Jazz & Shine LLC!

My name is Rena, and first and foremost, I’m a single mom of three amazing kids. I also have my Bachelor’s degree in Business and currently work at Fenwicks in Rensselaer.

Recently, I decided I wanted to take a chance on myself and start something of my own. 🖤✨ What started as an idea turned into Jazz & Shine, and about a month ago, I officially took the next big step and became Jazz & Shine LLC!

Building a business while working and raising three kids definitely keeps me busy, but I’m so proud of how far this little business has already come. Every person who has booked with me, shared my posts, recommended me, or supported my business in any way has helped me get here — and I truly appreciate it more than you know. 🥹

🧹 I’m officially ready to take on MORE CLIENTS!

Whether you need regular cleaning, a deep clean, help tackling a space that has gotten overwhelming, or just want to come home to a clean house without having to do it yourself — I’d love to help! ✨

‼️‼️‼️‼️And now for something I’m REALLY excited about… 👀

I was recently given the opportunity to take on a new project for the restaurant I work at! This is something a little different and something I’m incredibly excited to add to my growing list of experience.

✨ NEW PROJECT:

Seeing a business that I already work for trust Jazz & Shine LLC with a project means so much to me, and I can’t wait to show you all the progress and final results! 🖤💛

This is still just the beginning for Jazz & Shine, and I’m excited to see where it goes.

If you’ve been thinking about booking a cleaning, my schedule is open for new clients! Feel free to message my page for availability, pricing, or questions.

If you’re ever in Rensselaer and find yourself hungry, come in & grab a bite to eat! 🍔
Jalapeño Popper burger is so good & we also have Sweet Potato French fries as well 😭

Thank you for supporting a local, mom-owned small business. 🖤✨

Well… I officially found my next adventure. 😂🎣🔧

Let’s just say this garage has enough fishing poles, tools, and random treasures to open its own flea market. 🤣 Some of it is headed for the trash, some of it deserves to be sold, and it’s my job to figure out which is which!

Is this going to take me a while? Oh, absolutely. 😂 This isn’t a “be right back” kind of cleaning job… this is a “see you in a few business days…” kind of project.

Most people would take one look, slowly back out, and pretend they never saw it. Me? I’m over here rubbing my hands together like, “Let’s do this!”

I seriously LOVE projects like this. There’s something so satisfying about taking years of clutter, organizing what’s worth keeping or selling, hauling away the garbage, and giving someone their space back.

Now if you don’t hear from me for a while… just assume I’m somewhere under a pile of fishing poles wondering whose idea this was. 😂

Stay tuned for the before and after pictures because this transformation is going to be worth every sore muscle! 🖤✨

Sometimes this job is about so much more than cleaning.

Today I had the privilege of helping an elderly client who told me he just couldn’t wash his floors anymore. It wasn’t because he didn’t want to—it was because his body simply wouldn’t let him.

Moments like these remind me why I started Jazz & Shine Cleaning. It’s not just about spotless floors or sparkling homes. It’s about giving someone peace of mind, helping them keep their independence a little longer, and showing them they’re not alone.

Seeing the smile on his face after everything was finished meant more to me than any paycheck ever could. ❤️

If you have an elderly parent, grandparent, neighbor, or loved one who could use a helping hand around the house, I’d be honored to help. Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness make the biggest difference.

Thank you to all of my wonderful clients for trusting me in your homes. It truly means the world to me.

💛 With love,
Jazz & Shine Cleaning

Today is a huge milestone for Jazz & Shine Cleaning… I officially became an LLC! ✨💛

What started as an idea has turned into something I’m incredibly proud of. Every booking, every referral, every like, every share, and every kind word has helped me get to this point. As a small business owner and a single mom, this means more to me than I can put into words.

This is only the beginning! Next week I’ll be taking another big step by getting my business fully insured, so I can continue providing my clients with even more peace of mind and professionalism.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me to care for your homes and supported my dream. Your support isn’t just helping a business grow—it’s helping me build a better future for my family.

I’m so excited to see what the future holds for Jazz & Shine Cleaning. Here’s to new beginnings, bigger goals, and many more sparkling homes! 🧽✨

From the bottom of my heart… thank you. ❤️
