This is a great demonstration of the importance of having your chimney swept annually thanks to Chimney Safety Institute of America. The video shows the beginning of a chimney fire occurring in a wood burning chimney flue. The smoke you see coming out of the top is also hot gasses that are burned off during the combustion process. A few minutes later there were flames shooting out of the top of the flue from the gasses igniting. Call us today and make sure your fireplace is safe from excessive creosote build up like this. Here we have a demonstration at the Chimney Safety Institute of America of a thermal shock situation that can happen regardless of having a creosote build up in your wood burning chimney flue. In this demonstration they showed how burning an amount of newspaper inside of your fireplace can severely damage your chimney because it is not designed to contain combustion for anything other than wood. New fireplace remodel finished and in the books today. Started with and outdated fireplace and gutted it out to install a new Heat N Glo direct vent gas fireplace. Then prepped the wall with cement board for the stone to have a proper surface to adhere to. Thanks to R.L. Bull Cabinetry for another amazing custom mantel. Our Toys For Tots haul this year. Thank you to everyone who helped contribute and everyone that helped us make this possible. We raised more than $1400 dollars worth of toys for this wonderful charity. Children can't help the situations they are brought into so the least that we can do is help provide a Merry Christmas for them. May everyone have a wonderful Christmas!

This fireplace was a real challenge but we like challenges around here. First we had to remove and dispose of the existing brick facade on the fireplace. Once removed we had to build out a new hearth using cinder block and cement board. Then we framed out a fireproof structure that could handle the heat, due to us installing a new wood burning fireplace insert. We installed real Kentucky Fieldstone to the lower half of the fireplace and topped it with a custom built and stained floating wood mantel. Client is handling all the drywall and painting in the room so we are off to the next one. They are also having custom book shelves built on each side of the fireplace. This one really turned out great and can't wait to see it all the way complete.

Excellent new Wood Burning Insert install we finished up today. We completely remodeled the hearth and set new hearthstones to pair with the great new stove we installed. This brand is a new partnership we have and we are the exclusive dealer for them in the entire southwest Ohio region. Such a great brand with such a great product. Revolutionary to the industry and unlike anybody else.
