When storms roll through the commonwealth, CSP employees are always there to make sure our rest areas are safe and cleaned up for visitors looking to take a break from the rain.

Congratulations to the Hart County Rest Area for once again being named Kentucky’s best-maintained rest area! The CSP employees at this rest stop have worked hard all year and earned perfect scores on all 12 of their inspections this year.

Way to go, Hart County team!

All of the state’s rest areas undergo 12 unannounced inspections, with each of the three staff shifts receiving a quarterly evaluation throughout the year.
