More often than not I hear from my clients apologies about their homes or embarrassment at messes, so let’s clear something up…
First, and most importantly, I am never here to judge anyone!! I am doing a job I enjoy that brings me gratification.
And secondly and really just as important 🗣MESSINESS IS NOT A MORAL FAILING. 🗣
I don’t care why your house is “messy” whether it be because you’ve gone through a depressive episode, or you have ADHD, you have small children or animals, or you have a chronic illness, or you’re just plain tired, etc.
Not knowing how to clean or having the inability (physically or mentally) isn’t a personality defect.
Our responsibilities as adults, as caregivers, as humans are immense. If I can help you find a way to lift that load, I’m happy to help, no “I’m sorry for the mess today,” is necessary.
