Here are our two biggest recommendations:

šŸ”Ž 1. Seal their entry points.
Seal gaps Ā¼ inch or larger with quality exterior caulk or other appropriate sealantsā€”but donā€™t overlook smaller cracks! Some insects can squeeze through openings as small as ā…› inch. Check around windows, doors, siding, and where pipes or wires enter your home. Replace worn weatherstripping and door sweeps, and repair damaged screens. Keep necessary drainage and ventilation openings functional with appropriate pest-resistant screening.

šŸ›”ļø 2. Stay consistent with quarterly pest service.
Regular quarterly service helps keep inspections, monitoring, and seasonal treatments on schedule. A properly timed fall treatment can help reduce invading pests, while sealing entry points provides lasting protection. The two work together!

A week ago we asked why this roach was white, the answer was freshly molted!

As young cockroaches grow, they shed their outer shell, called an exoskeleton, through a process known as molting. Immediately afterward, their new outer covering is soft and pale because it hasnā€™t finished hardening and developing its normal color.

Over the next few hours, that new shell hardens and darkens into the familiar roach color. Youā€™re catching a little behind-the-scenes moment in its growth! šŸŖ³
