When should I wash the car?
Don't... wait for a layer of crud to accumulate before washing. Dead bugs, bird droppings, and chemicals from the atmosphere all leach acids that can strip away wax and eventually eat into your car's paint. If left too long, they can cause damage that requires sanding and repainting the area to correct.

Do... wash off dead bugs, bird droppings, and tree-sap mist as soon as possible. Other than this, a weekly car wash will keep the finish in its best shape. In addition, if you live in an area that suffers from acid rain, rinse your vehicle off after a period of rainy weather. First, there is no wastage of water. Since chemicals are not used and the dirty water is not let into the ground, there is no pollution of underground water. Since steam and vacuum is used to clean the inside of the vehicles, dust etc is sucked into the machine and not let out (as is the case with air blower), thereby protecting the environment that steam wash also kills bacteria inside the car.

One of the best points about steam cleaning is that because of the power of the steam in removing dirt, you don't need to use chemicals that might react with your car upholstery.
You can also get the dirt and grime from those hard to reach places that are just impossible with a traditional hand cleaning effort.
