If you read studies about cleaning and germs,( I DO), sponges and clothes can easily spread germs from one area to another. GROSS!! So you could easily have toilet germs in your kitchen sink if you aren't using your sponges in "specified" areas. Or in certain areas, use antibacterial wipes or paper towels so you don't even risk having those germs resurface!
