You changed the sheets. Fluffed the pillows. But the headboard? Different story.

Headboards collect dust, skin cells, and oils from hair and hands, especially upholstered ones, where it settles into the fabric and stays there. It’s the reason your bedroom can look spotless and still make you sneeze at night.

Start by vacuuming the headboard with the soft brush attachment, going slowly along the seams and tufting. For fabric, blot any marks with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. For wood or leather, a slightly damp microfiber cloth works well, followed by a dry one.

One thing worth knowing: don’t soak upholstery. Too much water can leave rings and trap moisture in the padding. Light pressure and a barely damp cloth is all you need.

When's the last time you pulled everything out and actually wiped the shelves 👀

That red stuff on the drawer cover? raw meat juice. it drips down, dries, and just sits there while you keep adding groceries on top.

Quick fix: keep raw meat on the bottom shelf in a tray or container, and give the shelves a full wipe at least once a month.
