Lots of fun working in the pouring rain today! 🌧️ The Grundéns rain gear I picked up from Cowlitz River Rigging definitely earned its keep.

We knocked out a TON of work on this property today — a large amount of concrete cleaning, a Trex deck, chain-link fencing and gates, plus some gentle exterior rinsing to remove dirt and buildup from multiple buildings.

The customer was extremely happy with both the results and the price! Some of the moss, staining, and buildup had been there for years, so it was incredibly satisfying to see just how much of a difference a proper cleaning made. Some surfaces were delicate too, and called for greater care.

The only thing I’d change about today? I wish the rain would’ve stopped long enough to get some good, dry “after” photos! 😂

One unique approach our company takes is to NEVER use brushes in a shingle. It’s unnecessary. It goes against manufacturer guidelines. It’s a short cut that takes time off the contractors job, and years off your roof.

When asking about a legitimate roof cleaning always ask about or advocate against the use of brushes.

If it’s strong enough to get moss off, it’s strong enough to get granules off!

Today was a perfect example of why soft washing is necessary when handling delicate surfaces!

This house had heavy dark staining in most areas, along with some weak/cracking paint.

I worked this one with a shower head spray most of the time and left the paint in tact while removing the black/green!
