With warmer weather upon us and no hard freezes expected... Tall in the Details is back in detailing action! This year I'll be doing donations largely by donation to National MS Society as part of the Bike MS Arizona event with Team Meat Fight November 7-8. ..And to kick it off, we've got our first detail by donation done today with a repeat neighbor! With temps expected to drop below freezing the detailing stuff has been moved to the basement and the pressure washer lines have been winterized. I can still do some detailing through the colder months, it just has to be thought out a bit more... and I tend to do more interior-only detailing in the colder months. I always like a good headlight before and after. This was a car I worked on a year or two ago and wasn’t able to get the headlights great at the time using my standard headlight method. But we live and learn and grow and I tried some different techniques and they came out much much better, I would say a 90-95% improvement from before. Not bad for 12 year old headlights!

Fundraising update... Thanks mostly to details by donation, I've met my goal of $1000 in donations for the Bike MS: Colorado ride June 28-29!

Fundraising update - I'm doing details 100% by donation until I meet my fundraising goals for my two National MS Society Bike MS events (Bike MS Colorado June 28-29 [https://events.nationalmssociety.org/participant/Matt-Adams-2025CO] with Team Left Hand and Bike MS Oklahoma September 12-13 [https://events.nationalmssociety.org/participant/Matt-Adams-2025OK] with Team Meat Fight). Currently I am about 70% to my goal for the Bike MS Colorado and 30% to my goal for Bike MS Oklahoma.
Once the goals are met I'll still be donating a portion of details but it'll be back to normal methods so if you want to ensure the money from your detail goes to a good cause, reach out soon!

I’m not OCD but I definitely take great satisfaction in a drawer full of towels all cleaned folded and stored in their proper place in the towel drawer… especially when just yesterday about 90% of these were dirty, wet, and piled in a bucket from the last week or two worth of details.

Enjoyed doing this interior and exterior detail for a neighbor by donation to National MS Society. Didn’t get enough before and after photos but the difference was night and day.
Detailing clean cars would be boring :)

Until I have met my fundraising goals for these two events, all details will be 100% by donation to National MS Society. You can even make the donation directly to these pages to guarantee it goes to the right place/if you'd like to deduct the donation. Getting an extractor has been on my wish list for a while. I’ve been able to do most interior jobs without it, but there’s been a few stains and really dirty upholstery and carpet that I think I could’ve gotten a lot cleaner in the past if i had an extractor…
Now I just need some upholstery to test this out on 😉
