“Tweakin 45’s” I took out an old brass pump that was butted up against the 3 port Jandy. Hmmm no problem nothing a 2.5” coupling can’t handle! Uhhhh well now I don’t have the room, the pump is longer than the old one? Boom! Kick that pump to the left and start “Tweakin 45’s” to set your inlet height level! No St90’s here this time, although on occasion your hands are tied and you have to do what you have to do. I am definitely not above using St90’s. I will come back and paint the pipes on the next service visit. @ Long Beach, California

Welcome to Ask the Pool Techs landing page. We are inviting anybody that dedicate their careers to the pool service and repair industry. We have a wide variety of technicians from your backyard service techs to master technicians installing and repairing automation, heaters pumps, etc. We are looking for members who want to self educate or want to share their experiences with other technicians to help grow the service industry. Our group's goal is to help one another educate and learn from each other. There aren't any ridiculous questions and only intelligent people ask for help.
