Just an update. Feeling better. The soreness comes and goes. This past Saturday i spent the full day at my booth. I enjoyed being there. But it might have been a little to much to soon. I guess I still need to take it easy. It will be 3 weeks since my surgery tomorrow. I have an appointment later this week with my doctors. Hopefully they will increase my weight restriction soon so I can get back to doing repair.
I wish everyone a great week. Hope to see you this coming weekend at Flea Land flea market this weekend.

I just wanted to give a small update. I have had my surgery and I’m home recovering. It’s a slow go at the moment. I hope to be back up and running in a few weeks. I want to wish everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

This is the brush drive spindle on a cordless crosswave. Compliant was a burning smell. There was so much hair wrapped up on it that the friction it was creating was starting to melt the housing that this goes in. Now the unit is back to good working condition.

I will only be taking in repairs through December 6th. I will be having Kidbey cancer surgery on the 17th to remove my left kidney along with some lymph nodes. If all goes well I hope to start repairs again mid January. If not sooner. Thank you everyone for allowing me to repair and or service you vacuums and carpet cleaners. As well to those that have made purchases from me this past two years.
I am looking forward to continue serving you again in the near future

I've got something a little different in the booth today. A Rubbermaid commercial cleaning cart, model number 9T72, which most retailers sell for $360 and up. I've added 2 new 10qt caddies along with a 15qt caddy. This would make a great auto detailing cart for the garage or a great cleaning cart for an office setting.
Selling for $210. That’s $150 off retail.

Here is a new addition to the lot. It is a nearly new machine. The ProTeam ProForce 1500XP is a commercial upright vacuum with an 18 lb weight, 15-inch cleaning path, 96 CFM airflow, and 84 inches of static lift powered by a dual-motor system. I will be giving a 6 month repair warranty.

It’s delivery day! This thing was a mess.
It received a new fan and pulley. Transmission service with new N/D pedal. A new brush, belt, bag, bulb, good used cord, and one wheel cover. Repaired the bag hanging strap along with re-sewing close the top of the bag. Because it had come undone when the strap came apart.
Then the polishing. This thing was pitted! It looked more like an old piece of tin than aluminum. There are still some pit marks after sanding with 160, 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 2000, 4000 grits. Then brown rouge on a yellow wheel. Followed by green on a white wheel. I hope the customer likes it.

Let’s see what I can do with this. Customer brought it to me to get working again. It’s been in storage since his wife passed. He said he would like to get it back in good working order. The problem was a bad cord. So far I’ve got the motor done. Cleaned and fan replaced. Motor sounds great. Brushes have about a third of their life left. I’ll pull apart the tec drive tomorrow after work to relube. Then get the body washed and ready for the bench buffer Thursday.
