At Alpha, environmental stewardship is a key part of how we operate. We take great pride in reclaiming and restoring mined lands and today, we’re excited to share that two of our operations were recently recognized.

The West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection and the West Virginia Coal Association have recognized the following sites with 2024 Environmental Excellence Awards for exemplary reclamation performance:

- Drainage Structure Reclamation Award - Republic Energy, LLC Turkeyfoot Surface Mine
- Valley Fill Construction Award - Republic Energy, LLC Long Ridge Surface Mine

**JOB OPENING**

Immediate opening for a technician to work in the field to collect water samples. 40 hours a week +
Occasional Saturday or Sunday required.

WV Miners Health Safety & Training “Safety Sensitive Card” or MSHA mining certificate cards a plus as you will be on mining property.

Strong organizational skills are a must as position is responsible for logistically processing an average of 500+ samples per week.
Database experience a plus but not required.
Position is open immediately.
