Here is another example of a great old rug. Initially, I believe it was a saddle bag. Flat weave on both ends with a pile in the middle.

I often get to clean some very old rugs. This one’s about 90 years old. I saw a rug like this about 30 years ago in a castle in England. Very unique rug.
It is a flat weave Kaleem style rug on the front with loose threads on the back side.
