I had the pleasure of doing a move-out deep cleaning for a fellow THS alumni this past week. This 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment was in pretty rough shape, but after a few hours of hard work it’s ready for its next tenant!

There’s no rest for the wicked as they say!! In between cleaning other homes I (try) to keep up with my own by doing my 6 tips for a keeping a tidy home and throwing in deep cleaning tasks where they’re needed. Yesterday my husband cleaned the bathrooms and today I’m scrubbing the kitchen floor.

As a cleaner, one of the most satisfying parts of my job is the deep clean. Many times we are so used to seeing an object in our home that we don’t even realize how much dust and gunk has built up on it (look at that happy light fixture!) or the yuck is hiding when we don’t look (peek-a-eww!).
