🌀 A Quick Liberty Laundry PSA: What Are “Turns”? 🌀

In the laundry business, we measure machine usage by “turns” — meaning how many times a washer or dryer can be used throughout the day. The more turns a machine gets, the more customers we’re able to serve.

That’s why we kindly ask everyone to remove laundry promptly once cycles are complete. If clothes are left sitting in machines for an extended period of time, our attendants may carefully remove them so the next customer can use the machine.

When machines sit occupied after cycles end, it prevents other customers from washing and creates lost revenue for the store — especially during busy hours.

We truly appreciate everyone helping us keep Liberty Laundry running smoothly, efficiently, and fairly for all customers. 💙

At Liberty Laundry, we are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy because of them.

We will remain OPEN on Memorial Day to serve our community during regular business hours.

Update: I had a chat with the person responsible and Baton Rouge Police Department mediated a resolution to this issue. Glad to have it resolved.

We at Liberty Laundry are very Liberty minded people. We are fair, I believe we are generous and forgiving.

Murphys law says if it can break it will break.... at some point our machines will cause an issue. So if you have an issue with one of our machines my number is posted on all the walls in each of our stores... Id rather you call me for a refund than to destroy hundreds of dollars worth of equipment.

I try to keep open communication with our customers and we are eager to make things right if something goes wrong.

Should you go the other way with your grievances... you should know we have more cameras in every store than you can count or see.

I do not like getting police involved but if you choose this option that's on you.

Three years ago today, we took a leap of faith and acquired the Clothesline laundromat in Livingston. To be completely honest… we had no idea what we were doing. 🤣

What we did have was hope, a willingness to work hard, and a desire to create something meaningful for the community. What happened next was more than we could have imagined.

From day one, the Livingston community embraced us in the most incredible way. So many of you encouraged us, supported us, showed patience as we learned, and became more than just customers - you became friends and part of our story.

Over these past three years, we’ve built relationships that mean the world to us. We’ve celebrated milestones together, shared laughs, watched families grow, and truly feel blessed to serve this community.

Since opening day 3 years ago, we have expanded into 3 other locations which would not have been possible if it wasn't for the support of the Livingston and surrounding communities.

Thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and helping turn a little laundromat into something so much bigger than laundry. We are incredibly grateful for every single one of you and excited for what’s still ahead.

We just recently celebrated our 1 year anniversary of our Walker location. We have made strides in improving this location. From the lighting, to new, bigger machines and Improving customer service and the environment as a whole.

Let me take this moment to promote our locker drop off in walker. Our promotional pricing for this location is still in effect. You will not find cheaper drop off services.

All you have to do is get your profile established and then drop off in our lockers. Once finished we will place it in the locker for you to pick up at your convenience.

The store is open 5am - 10pm for self service or locker drop off.

Heads up to our Livingston patrons --- we've got some improvements underway! New flooring is being installed currently and we will soon be putting in a central A/C unit!!

We are so excited about these upgrades and we will try to remain open throughout. Please pardon our progress as we work towards providing a more comfortable experience for our amazing customers.
