Peppermint Wonderland!

This summer we added peppermint to our floor cleaning solution for our outdoor facilities.

One set of restrooms had a recurring bug issue. Hundreds of little tiny bugs that are attracted to the lights would invade at night. Spiders would follow them in as an easy target.

A study published in BioMed Research International found that peppermint essential oil is an effective repellent when applied to cotton. All you have to do is put a few drops onto a cotton ball, and then place the cotton balls wherever you spy bugs hanging out the most in your home.
