I know house cleaning is not the most glamorous job, you can’t do it from the comfort of your own home, you get dirty, and you work super hard. But let me tell you what house cleaning is! Happy New Year Everyone! It has been some time since I last posted but S***k and Span Colorado has been busy cleaning the homes and businesses in the Denver metro area. With the New Year, we have a new logo and a new website that is in the works. Cleaning houses is not just wiping down counters and sweeping floors, it is an art form. Being a professional cleaner takes special attention to detail and an eye to see things that others can not see. I started cleaning a new client this week who had a previous house keeper and I was shocked to see all the things that the previous person had overlooked as an opportunity to make her customer happy. Good Evening and Happy Weds! After a visit to a friend's house who is fostering puppies I thought that I would share a little trick on how to get rid of the smell and stain from Dog urine in carpet. All you need to do is pour a heaping mound of iodine table salt on the p*e spot and let it sit over night! In the morning take your vacuum and suck up the salt pile and presto NO SMELL NO STAIN!!!!! Give it a shot and share your experience on this thread🙂 Hope everyone has had a wonderful day!

It is now after 10PM and I just got home from cleaning a school contract that I have and man am I tired! I worked this morning, dealt with all the family stuff, went back to cleaning and now I am at home realizing that being a business owner is not for the faint in heart! Today has been a long day yet a full filling day that is not over until all the business computer work is done for the day. For all you business owners out there keep your heads up. Some days are just flat out hard, especially in the beginning, but if you can push through the hard days I know that the good days are right around the corner! Have a good night everyone and keep the faith that hard work does pay off.
