A lot has changed since that first photo. A lot of jobs, a lot of long days, and a lot of learning along the way. Seth's title may have changed — he's the "boss" now — but that hasn't changed how much he values Clif's knowledge, experience, and wisdom.

Today, our team performed a sewer line locate and camera inspection to get a closer look at the condition of an underground sewer line!

🔍 How does locating a sewer line work?

Using specialized locating equipment, we can help determine the path and approximate location of a buried sewer line. This is especially helpful when planning repairs, investigating recurring problems, or determining where a line may need attention.

📹 How does a sewer camera inspection work?

A specialized waterproof camera is inserted into the sewer line, allowing us to see inside the pipe in real time. This helps us identify potential problems such as:

🌳 Root intrusion — tree roots growing into the sewer line.
🧱 Cracks or breaks — damage that may lead to leaks or sewer issues.
🚧 Blockages and buildup — grease, debris, or other obstructions restricting flow.

🍂 Fall is here, Central Arkansas, time to winterize that irrigation system before the cold catches it off guard.

Your RPZ (that backflow preventer on your irrigation system) sits outside, and it's one of the first things to crack when water freezes inside it. Don't wait for the first hard freeze to find out the hard way.

Here's the fall checklist:
🔧 Disconnect your RPZ
🔧 Shut off the water to your irrigation system
🔧 Drain and blow out the lines
🔧 Protect any exposed pipes and backflow parts from freezing

A little prep now beats a busted backflow and a soggy yard later, and it's a whole lot cheaper than a repair in March.

🚨 ROOTS IN YOUR SEWER LINE? 🌳🚽

Check out these photos from a recent job for a customer in North Little Rock! Our team used a professional rooter machine to clear a stubborn sewer line clog and pulled out a large clump of roots that had grown into the line.

🌱 How do roots get into sewer lines? Tree roots naturally seek out moisture and can work their way into small cracks or loose joints in underground sewer pipes. As they grow, they can create blockages that restrict wastewater flow and lead to slow drains, backups, and other plumbing problems.

🔧 How can a rooter machine help? A rooter machine uses a rotating cutting head to break through and remove roots and other obstructions, helping restore proper flow through the sewer line.
