Don't wait until you have an ant problem. Try these 3 things to keep ants out of your kitchen.
1. Seal every entry point you can find.
Ants don't need much space. Check around window frames, door sweeps, and the gaps where pipes enter the wall. A bead of caulk goes a long way.
2. Eliminate moisture sources.
Ants scout for food AND water. Fix dripping faucets, dry out the area under your sink, and don't leave standing water in pet bowls overnight.
3. Remove the food trail.
Once ants find a food source, they leave a pheromone trail for the rest of the colony. Clean counters with a vinegar-water solution to disrupt the scent path. Move pantry items to sealed containers.
These three steps stop a surprising number of minor ant problems before they escalate.
But if you're seeing ant scouts daily, finding them near multiple entry points, or noticing trails that keep coming back, that's a colony that's established nearby and needs professional treatment to address the source. Our Revolutionary BARRIER 360 system prevents ants from entering your home.
