With sadness I would like to share that on Friday October 17th 2025 Christine Mace passed away, rejoining her husband Raymond.

As you know, she was the owner and founder of Royal Maids, a thriving small business in Horry County. Ownership will pass to Christine's daughter, Laura Thacker.

For the last six years Donna Wilbanks has been operating Royal Maids as it's General Manager. Donna will continue to manage Royal Maids and provide existing and future clients with the signature service Royal Maids is known for.

She will be greatly missed but she took comfort in knowing that her business will live on.

I just wanted to reach out after our service today and praise the two ladies that cleaned our home at ********* Ln Shallotte. My husband scheduled this as part of my birthday gift and it was much appreciated. I love the care taken to polish and shine my faucets and stainless steel appliances. I am amazed at how clean my master bathroom toilet is after you ladies cleaned. You did a much better job than I do and I appreciate you giving me a clean fresh start again. Our shower was so clean and I was thinking today how I need to scrub the shower this weekend and now I don’t have to worry about that. I don’t know how you did it but you ladies got up the last bit of grout residue on our kitchen floor that I’ve been scrubbing at since I laid the floor a few months ago. I really felt comforted by my bed being made and I didn’t have to do it lol! Also my bedside table is so clean now and I had really let it collect dust. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for cleaning my home with such love and care.
