Just a reminder- ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE FOOD, DRINK, OR CANDY is allowed on the theatre grounds.

THIS ALSO MEANS NO OUTSIDE CUPS OF ANY KIND- any cups that are outside cups will be asked to be poured out at the entrance gates.
This is no different than when you go other places like stadiums etc.

The concession stand is the MAIN source of income and livelihood for our theatre. Without snack bar sales the drive in WOULD CLOSE DOWN. We want to continue to serve our community but we cannot do that without your help in FOLLOWING OUR RULES.

If any outside food, candy or drinks are found from this point forward- YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE WITH NO REFUND OR QUESTIONS.

Please help us in keeping this theatre alive! Come hungry and happy. Support local businesses before there aren’t any to support!

U.S. job openings plunged in July to their lowest level since January 2021, suggesting that the labor market is slowing down and may trigger the Federal Reserve to issue a large rate cut later this month.

July’s job openings, considered a key measure of labor demand, fell by 237,000 to 7.673 million for the month, according to the Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics in its Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey issued on Wednesday.

Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office News Release
Deputy Prevents Man from Jumping from Bridge into River

August 3, 2022

Lincolnton NC – A Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputy has been credited with saving a man from jumping from a bridge into the South Fork River.

Deputy H. Prater was on routine patrol August 1, 2022 on Long Shoals Road when he came upon a man sitting partially over a concrete guardrail on the bridge over the South Fork River.

Deputy Prater stopped his patrol vehicle near the man and could tell he was emotional and upset. The officer who recently worked a domestic case involving the 21-year old man was able to talk to him and pull him from the guardrail while he was looking down at the river.

Additional patrol units arrived on the scene to assist in the incident. The man agreed to be transported to Atrium – Lincoln for evaluation.
