Hygiene is something many of us never have to think twice about, but for so many families, seniors, and students in our community, basic hygiene products are not always accessible. Lincoln Hygiene Network works every day to make sure no one has to choose between dignity and essentials.

At New Start Cleaning, giving back to our community has always been important to us. Coco proudly serves as a board member for Lincoln Hygiene Network, and we are honored to continue supporting their mission.

We also want to thank our amazing clients who continue donating hygiene and period products throughout the year. Your generosity truly makes a difference, and this is something we will continue doing for years to come. 🫶

Employees of the Month: Yadira & Marleny 🖤

We wanted to take a moment to recognize these two for all of their hard work. Yadira and Marleny handle many of our deep cleans and move-outs, which are among the more physically demanding jobs we take on. These jobs require extra attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, and they consistently deliver every time.

Not only do they work hard, but they also bring a positive attitude to the team and are always willing to help wherever needed. We truly appreciate everything they do for New Start Cleaning and the care they put into every home and property they clean.

In honor of Period Awareness Week, we wanted to give back to our community here in Lincoln in a meaningful way. ❤️

This week, 20% of our earnings will go toward helping provide period products to women and young girls in need locally. We are also collecting unopened pads, tampons, liners, wipes, and monetary donations through the end of the week.

Access to basic hygiene products is something many people quietly struggle with, and we would love to do our small part to help our community.

✨ Employee Spotlight: Meet Yadis Mendez ✨

At New Start Cleaning, we are proud to recognize one of the amazing people who has helped build our company from the very beginning, Yadirha Mendez.

Yadirha has been part of New Start Cleaning since the company first started. Over the years, she has grown alongside the business, learning every aspect of the cleaning industry while helping organize, build, and strengthen our company into what it is today.

She began her journey cleaning alongside her mom, CoCo, while attending the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. After graduation, Yadirha decided to continue her journey with New Start Cleaning full-time, bringing her dedication, leadership, and creativity to the team.

Today, Yadirha serves as our Marketing & Commercial Manager, while also assisting with bookkeeping and company organization. Her passion for marketing, leadership, and helping the company grow has recently earned her a promotion to Commercial Manager.

Beyond her work ethic, Yadirha is known for her positive attitude, sense of humor, and ability to keep the team smiling even on difficult days. Having someone so young, driven, and committed to the company has been truly inspiring.

We are incredibly lucky to have Yadirha as part of the New Start Cleaning family, and we cannot wait to continue watching her grow and succeed.
