Buttermilk doesn’t last long and most of mine kept getting tossed when I only need 1 cup or 1/2 cup for a recipe. Total bummer, man! So, I found some Jell-O shot cups in my pantry (yep, we’ve had our share of Jell-O shots), and they hold exactly 1/4 cup for easy freezing. Now, I just defrost what I need for each recipe, then rinse out the cups to use again later for buttermilk or party time!
