2 of 3 bats that had returned to a new customers attic vents. One already flew out prior to video. Bats will hang out under slats even if interior screen is intact. This one had a baseball sized hole in bottom that allowed access to inside. Because the screen material used on most of these vents is not very tough material, I always encourage clients to have them covered from the outside with welded wire cut to size.

Groundhogs number 4,5 and 6 from the same property over last few days and there are still more. Total of 9 burrows around home and detached garage. Had the customer waited a couple more weeks, you could have probably tripled the number of Groundhogs caught.

Not a bad trap line check considering I only have 12 snares out.

This raccoon had an obvious access point and he and others over time had absolutely destroyed the customers duct work. Some duct was completely disconnected and others were so shredded they’re almost useless. Fortunately home owners insurance will cover damage caused by raccoons most of the time. This includes damaged HVAC equipment and waste cleanup. Both things are services KYote Wildlife Control provides.

I never turn down these news interviews, even though they make me nervous. Crazy enough, apparently my job isn’t high risk enough for insurance to cover the rabies vaccine last I checked.

Several sources say less than 1% of bats have rabies.
