Full-time and Part-time positions available
Friendly, organized and goal oriented individual needed to provide laundry services to local residents. Individual must be able to provide friendly customer service and be able to wash, dry, iron and fold laundry in an efficient and timely manner while ensuring a clean and sanitized work area.
Prefer candidates with laundry experience and customer service experience, although not required. One position is a morning position from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm and an evening position is from 2:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Receive and follow cleaning schedule/instructions from the owner and/or manager.
• Collect soiled laundry, linen, garments, etc. that have been dropped off by customers.
• Keep drop-off orders organized and unmixed in appropriate containers or carts.
• List and count non-personal flat linen, sheets pillowcases, towels, blankets and delicate items, etc. (and mark) as needed.
• Sort and separate items that require special stain removal/treatment. Wash and dry laundry per instruction.
• Separate, fold, stack (hang/bag where required).
• Clean work area at end of shift.
• Report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns to owner/manager as soon as possible.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, turn and/or twist & moderate lifting when necessary.
• Must be able to have or be able to learn basic computer skills.
EXPERIENCE
• Laundry: 2 years (Preferred)
• Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
• GED or High School Graduation Preferred
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
