Work is continuing! Yesterday was an awesome cleanup on Devonport to restore the creek bank.

Much trash was removed and more seeds sewn!

I am always working hard to keep our neighborhoods clean !

There are still some ice rinks around! Be careful walking around! We can still fall easily.

I skated on one. I couldn't resist. I'm a skater from growing up in South Dakota. If you don't skate or sled you can't do much in winter. Play King of the hill on the snow piles.

I've been sidelined for a bit due to a nasty virus which luckily is not Covid or flu. The cough is brutal. I'm looking to get back out by Thursday, weather permitting.

The trash can and bags I am donating to Oxford Circle have arrived. When I get my donation sticker, I will place it. We've got to find ways to help folks do the right thing!

While sidelined, I have been painting rocks to put out new messages of positivity for our neighborhoods.

My daughter in laws funds are running short since she hasn't worked since her July 18th stage 4 lung cancer diagnosis.

This is happening on Sunday!
The area needs to be cleaned before we can plant native flowers and plant seeds.
Cassandra Theis Vogl is the leader on this one. I hope to be able to join for at least an hour.

I will be working there Thursday morning to clean at the top of the banks since I am unable to maneuver the creek banks.

Please come and give us a hand!

I ordered buttons I designed from Vistaprint.

I wanted something to give to the young ones who help with trash!

They usually take me by surprise.

Soon I will have a bit of reward to remind them how wonderful they are in helping our planet!

I also wanted to post a couple of pictures of the new trash truck i
purchased. It is going to be great for working all around the area!!

When I get my permanent plate, I am going to request something personalized on this blank Be Kind, Be the Difference plate.

We've been in Florida all week. There is trash here too. Also there are lots of trash cans! I wish people would use them more.

My best day was at Cocoa Beach when I found a stand with buckets to use for trash! My kids are embarrassed at times when I pick up trash on the way to and from my car.

I won't stop! Trash needs to go in the trash! Not on the ground! Ever!

Life is so busy that I don't have time to do stuff here as much.

Cleaning takes place all the time.

Our Cardinal Valley Clean up day was a great success.

In case you miss me at trash time, I'm still around.

My daughter in law has been diagnosed with lung cancer with spread to brain and kidney.

She is a single mom to 3 of my grand girls. They have a rough road ahead. A GoFundMe has been started for expenses to keep her afloat while she gets treatment on this difficult journey.

Today was a tragic day in Oxford Circle. A life was lost, a dozen folks went to hospital because of a carbon monoxide leak at Oxford Circle Apartments.

Displaced residents are now gone to hotels. Many had pets and Red Roof Inn accommodated them.

There wasn't much that I could do to help, but supported where I could.

The response from the community was swift and organized. Extra cudos to Harvest Worship Center that opened doors to house the displaced persons along with taking care of the officials aiding the efforts to get them temporary housing.

I'll go down Wednesday weather permitting and see how things are going down there while I work at the entrance.

Take care of your fellow humans and their animals too. Sleep well friends. ☺️❤️🖖
