Springtime bed renewal has been the name of the game the last couple weeks! 🌳

Our process usually involves weeding and cleaning the area of debris, cutting a nice smooth edge in the sod, then removing all left over dirt/grass in preparation for a light layer of pre-emergent formula 🧬. All this prepares the bed for a new batch of mulch, plants, etc!

Super happy with the way this vegetable garden in north Middletown we finished up yesterday turned out. 👨🏻‍🌾

- removed old shrubbery, stones and pavers, deep rooted vine-grasses, and debris.
- weeded area by hand
- Tilled all dirt with a 6-blade tiller
- Spread a thick layer of mushroom based compost, tilled again 🍄
- Dug and formed 8 garden rows
- Spread and formed a layer of “Daddy Pete’s Plant Pleaser” soil enhancer 🌱
- Replanted and restrung Wisteria vine to square with house
