From August 5th through August 15th, we’ll be traveling to Poland to celebrate one of the most special moments in our family’s life—our son marrying his beautiful bride! 💍🇵🇱

Hi, I’m Katie, the owner of Dust to Shine Cleaning, and I thought it was finally time to introduce myself.

Eight years ago, I started this company in my small hometown in Central Kentucky with nothing more than a dream, a mop, and a determination to build something I could be proud of.

Back then, there were no employees, no fancy equipment, and no big contracts. It was just me.

I cleaned every home myself, answered every phone call, scheduled every appointment, and poured everything I had into earning the trust of my clients. I wasn’t just building a cleaning company—I was building a reputation.

Over the years, that hard work paid off. Dust to Shine Cleaning grew from one woman cleaning houses into a trusted company with an incredible team serving families and businesses throughout Central Kentucky.

Then life took me to Virginia Beach.

Most people would think moving hundreds of miles away would mean starting over. Instead, I chose to keep building.

Today, I proudly manage my Kentucky team from Virginia while continuing to grow our Hampton Roads division. I’m also honored to be working on a military cleaning contract, opening doors I once only dreamed about.

Managing a business in two states hasn’t always been easy. There have been long days, unexpected challenges, and plenty of moments that tested me. But if there’s one thing this journey has taught me, it’s that hard work, integrity, and consistency will always outlast shortcuts.
