My name is Ryman, and I am a German Shorthaired Pointer. I am a pretty-simple dog that loves my family and hunting … a ball, that is. In fact, the only thing that makes me drop my ball is when a mosquito flies by, and I try to eat it as a snack. Those things are hard to catch!!
My mom doesn’t like mosquitoes nearly as much as I do. That’s actually how Bird Dog Mosquito started. My mom, Wendy, was always complaining about mosquitoes “eating her alive” when she was in the yard playing with my sister Talley.
Mom finally complained enough to my dad, Jason, that he decided to start spraying for mosquitoes in our yard in Lexington, SC. It was easy for him since he has been in the agriculture field for more than 10 years. Over the next 5 years, friends, family and neighbors started asking him to spray their yards for mosquitoes, too.
Before long, my dad could barely find time to spray any more yards on the weekends. In 2021, he teamed up with Marcus to build Bird Dog Mosquito.
They are always talking about wanting to “excel in customer service while making yards and businesses more enjoyable than ever.”
I personally don’t see what all the fuss is about … I really miss those mosquitoes!!
