Spotting the Signs: Improper Pipe Angle Fixed

During a routine septic pumping, we noticed the inlet pipe coming into the tank was set at a bad angle. While talking with the homeowner, they mentioned issues with water backing up during high-usage times—like doing laundry or when the water softener regenerates.

Before & After: Broken Pipe Repair

During a routine septic pumping, we noticed a soft, squishy spot in the lawn—right in line with the pump tank and mound system. That’s always a red flag.

Sure enough, the culprit was a poorly installed coupling from the original system install. We dug it up and made the necessary repair.

This is a great reminder of why it’s so important to hire experienced professionals to take care of your septic system. Catching issues early prevents bigger (and more expensive) problems down the road!
