Super exciting day today... We just completed our first ever detail using 100% RECYCLED WATER. ♻️

For some backstory, if you don't know, Caldwell, Burke, Catawba, and other surrounding counties have been under a mandatory "no residential car washing" mandate since May 1st due to drought conditions. We called local governments as soon as we heard this thinking we might be exempt since we are a business, but this wasn't the case. We were told that no industrial washing of any kind is allowed and is punishable by fines and cutoff of water service, unless the water is being recycled (very important).

With that knowledge, we moved forward deciding the best way to do the right thing while keeping business booming was to focus on doing interiors only. So, we launched our 20% off drought special for interior only details (which is still running). But after a month and a half of restrictions in our business, we decided to stop waiting around for enough rain and we took matters into our own hands by building a custom, fully mobile water recycling system🤩

After weeks of buying parts & equipment, building, and testing, the project is complete. We are now fully operational again and able to take care of all exterior detailing services as per usual. We currently have a waiting list of nearly 40 customers to take care of exterior details (who we will be reaching out to for scheduling their appointments), so please be patient if we aren't able to fit your appointment in on short notice.

But, most importantly, we want everyone to know that our quality will not go down because we are using recycled water. After testing, the water quality is at a near perfect mineral content level of 1 PPM. Just check out the picture below to see how good our first recycled water detail took care of our clients truck!

Big step today! Over the past 2 years, we have operated as a DBA, which means that while we were officially registered and pay taxes, there was no separation between myself as the owner and the business itself. Today we officially received our LLC paperwork, so we are now Pit Stop Mobile Detail LLC!

This is personally so exciting as I've been working behind the scenes to scale Pit Stop to something bigger than ever before. This is a huge step in growing the business, and ultimately giving more of you the Pit Stop experience.

Thank you so much to the good Lord and everyone that has supported and trusted us so far, and we can't wait to continue to serve everyone the best we can and continue to grow each and every day!
