Top 5 Janitorial Issues (continued)
#3 Absence of Effective Quality Control
When it comes to cleaning, it is easy for areas of your facility to be overlooked when there is a lack of quality control measures in place. The last thing you want to do is manage your cleaning crew. If no one is present to check the work, areas may be overlooked or neglected.
Here are some examples of effective quality control from a janitorial service provider:
☑ Janitorial inspections – done to check that the cleaning is being done (and done correctly!)
☑ Communication with client in-person and electronically – Quickly answering any questions the client may have, saving them time
☑ Provides a Facility Service Manager - Acts as a liaison between the client and the janitorial service provider, manages the cleaning crew, & ensures tasks are done in a timely manner
Effective quality control plays a large role in the relationship between the client and janitorial provider. Good communication and oversight of the cleaning by a Facility Service Manager gives you one less thing to worry about.
