I 💯 expected us to walk in on squatters this time…

We were called to give an estimate to clean out an abandoned house in the boonies.

One of the windows was open 😳
That’s not a good sign…

Luckily, my intuition was wrong…
UNLESS the squatters were just really good at hide and seek 🫣

Why didn’t we remove the vines?

Simple.

The owner did not ask us to.

I’m no vine expert, and some people are very attached to their vine plants.

We do not remove plants unless specifically instructed to do so.

Who knows. Maybe that vine produces the beautifulest flowers? 🌺

When the “welcome” mat says “RIP”…
We might be cleaning out a haunted house.

We were told a lady passed in this house and was eaten by her cats 😳

People had lived there since… and they reported to have encountered the woman in paranormal ways…

We accepted the task@of cleaning out this “haunted house.”

We are happy to report we got it all cleaned out without experiencing anything spooky. Other than the crusty critters stuck to the floor 😅

We helped a couple of sweet young men clean up an overwhelming hoarding situation after their Mom passed away.

They lived states away and were not aware that the conditions of this home had gotten so bad 💔

That’s actually common in hoarding situations. For many reasons, the owners don’t often let people in.

We were so happy to help get this space ready for new life and to relieve a burden for the boys.

We all struggle, and we all need a little help sometimes.
