Weixler DCS Cleaning Service has been operating our of Myerstown, PA and serving the surrounding counties since 1992. As a family business, our goal is to maintain a business size and approach that is neither too large to be impersonal and risky, nor too small to be professional and reliable. This week’s employee spotlight focuses on a very special young woman who will soon be moving on to her next chapter.
Alexis has been with us for just over three years, and we have truly been blessed to have her as part of our team during that time. Throughout those three years, she has been preparing herself to step into what I’m sure will be a fulfilling and rewarding career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
For those who meet Alexis, they see a beautiful, shy young woman with a quiet and calm spirit—and while that is certainly true, what they may not immediately see is the strength within her. She carries a quiet determination and work ethic that reminds us that any goal worth achieving takes both hard work and perseverance—qualities she has in abundance.
A fun fact about Alexis that most people would never guess is that when she was younger, she loved airplanes and helping her dad fix things—so much so that she once dreamed of becoming an Air Force engineer! I sure hope the Air Force knows what a loss this really was for them!
Alexis is incredibly grateful for the guidance and support she received from former employee Erica, as well as her manager and mentor, Alyson. She also shares deep appreciation for the many wonderful customers she has been blessed to serve, noting that their kindness and encouragement have meant so much to her.
For those who have been fortunate enough to work with Alexis, they can’t say enough about what a great team player she is. Her reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to go above and beyond for her customers are only the beginning when describing this young fireball.
Many of our newer employees have been fortunate enough to be trained by Alexis, and it shows. We’ve had several customers reach out to let us know they can see her influence shining through in the quality of their work—something that speaks volumes about the standard she set.
To continue in the same spirit as the rest of the series, I’d like to give Alexis her superhero identity. The only truly fitting name is The Gentle Force—a reflection of the quiet strength, kindness, and steady presence she brings to everyone around her.
That kindness has been shown time and time again in her interactions with both employees and customers. Her level of care has even gone as far as checking on customers in her personal time when she knew they were going through difficult moments in their lives.
But as we all know, every superhero has their kryptonite—and hers just might be her love of plants, animals, and anything coffee! Not a bad set of kryptonite, if you ask me.
When she does find time for herself, Alexis enjoys CrossFit, being outdoors, and simply relaxing with a quiet moment and a cup of hot coffee.
Alexis will be sorely missed here at WDCS, but we couldn’t be prouder of the wonderful woman she has become. As she sets off to pursue all that lies ahead, we may wipe away a few tears—but we do so with full hearts, knowing she will be following her dreams and using that kind and caring spirit to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

As we continue our series highlighting our Super Staff, we’re proud to feature Amanda Greeninger.
In just over four years with the company, Amanda has worked her way up to a supervisory position and proven herself time and time again through her commitment to providing exceptional service to our valued customers.
Along with that dedication, she has also earned a reputation for having some of the fastest hands this side of the Milky Way—so much so that she’s earned the superhero title of Hurricane Hands.
This lightning-fast employee is also knowledgeable and meticulous, with a keen ability to catch even the smallest details—traits she attributes in part to the guidance of her best friend and co-manager, Tara. Amanda is incredibly grateful for the many tips and tricks Tara has shared over the years, and even more so for believing in her when she struggled to believe in herself.
Tara herself shared that from early on, Amanda stood out for her natural sense of responsibility and attention to detail. Even before stepping into a leadership role, she carried herself in a way that reflected ownership and awareness—qualities that simply can’t be taught.
Her presence brings a level of consistency and flow to the team that is hard to replace—something that would be deeply felt if it were ever missing. As Tara put it, “A day without her would feel noticeably more chaotic.”
Under Tara’s guidance, Amanda has grown not only in skill, but in confidence and decision-making. Today, she is someone who can step into any situation, manage the unexpected, and keep things moving without hesitation.
Over her time with Weixler Cleaning, Amanda has grown tremendously, both professionally and personally. She takes great pride in her role, working alongside and helping to manage a team of outstanding employees.
Of the many job types Amanda manages, she is especially drawn to short-term rentals such as Airbnbs. She enjoys the opportunity to brighten a guest’s stay through thoughtful, artistic touches—like the towel, blanket, and toilet paper creations she is known for.
Amanda’s impact doesn’t stop with the work itself—her customers notice it, too. Over time, she has built strong relationships with many of the clients she serves, with some even requesting her specifically. They recognize not only the quality of her work, but the care she puts into every space she touches.
From the smallest details to the personal notes she leaves behind, Amanda creates an experience that customers remember—and truly appreciate. These small details are often so well received that many customers choose not to disturb them, leaving them in place to continue brightening their space.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys gaming, traveling, and—most importantly—spending time with her family. This newly married mother of three values those moments deeply and cherishes time with the people who mean the most to her. She is also a huge fan of the band Evanescence and dreams of one day singing alongside Amy Lee on stage.
With all of these strengths, there has to be something to balance things out—otherwise the rest of us wouldn’t stand a chance!
Like any superhero, Amanda has her kryptonite. In her case, it can be a lack of confidence when speaking with people she doesn’t know well. In those moments, she may find herself either overexplaining or holding back—but those who know her best recognize the thoughtful, kind, and capable person behind it.

At Weixler Cleaning, we believe the heart of our company is our people.

We’re excited to introduce a new series where we’ll be highlighting the individuals who make what we do possible—sharing their stories, their strengths, and the impact they have on our team and our customers. We like to think of them as our very own superheroes, each bringing something unique to the team.

Today, we’re proud to begin with Alyson.

Today we begin our new series introducing our “Super Staff”—and who better to start with than Alyson Hartz.

Alyson is our most tenured employee, and her experience and leadership truly set her apart.

If Alyson were a superhero, her name would be The Order Architect—a reflection of her ability to create structure and organization in everything she does. And while we won’t go as far as saying “Shazam,” there’s no denying the impact she has in bringing order to even the busiest days.

From meticulously planning weekly schedules to ensuring her team has the tools and support they need, she brings a level of consistency and preparation that makes a lasting impact on everyone around her.

It’s a strength that sets a standard—one that benefits both our team and our customers every day.

Naturally, like any great superhero, Alyson has her kryptonite—it might just be catching someone sneaking in a nap. In her mind, there’s always something that could be getting done.

From the very beginning of her time with Weixler Cleaning back in 2013, Alyson has demonstrated a level of dedication and consistency that set her apart. Starting as a residential cleaner, she has grown into her role as Residential Manager through hard work, experience, and genuine commitment to both her team and our customers.

Her journey is one of steady growth—not only in her responsibilities, but in her confidence and leadership. What once began as a focus on her own work has evolved into the ability to lead, support, and guide an entire team.

In her current role, Alyson manages scheduling, customer communication, and daily operations for our residential division, all while continuing to work alongside her team in the field. It’s a balance that requires both organization and adaptability—and it’s one she handles with consistency and care.

Those who have worked with Alyson over the years have recognized these qualities from early on. When the opportunity arose for her to step into a leadership role, she was recommended with confidence—a reflection of both her experience and the trust she had already built.

Alyson leads by example. Her ability to stay organized, prepared, and focused sets the tone for those around her. She ensures that her team has what they need to succeed each day, creating an environment where expectations are clear and support is always present.

Beyond her role, Alyson is someone who genuinely cares—about her team, her customers, and the work she does. Whether it’s ensuring a customer feels supported or taking extra time to meet someone’s needs, she consistently goes beyond expectations.

Outside of work, Alyson enjoys staying active and spending time on a wide range of interests, from fitness and gardening to reading and writing. She also brings that same level of care and dedication into her role as a mother, balancing both her personal and professional life with intention and strength.
