PRICING. Customers are confused. Why the lowest price is going to bite you in the rear. 🥹 Your trying to get the LOWEST possible price for your house wash. What is the actual difference? You call 5 power washers. Chuck in the truck gives you a price of $250. Newbie inc. Gives you a price of $300. Weekend warrior company quotes you $350. CT Wash pros (yes, an actual pro) quotes you $400. Lastly another company quotes you $1,250 (sorry I cannot name that company but I know who they are! They are INSANE.)
What is the ACTUAL difference in all this?? The weekend warriors, newbies and fly by night companies that are here today and gone tomorrow often do NOT know what they are doing. Perhaps they are power washing your home with little to no chemical so they can save $100 on chems.
A pressure washer is aggressive as heck and will strip off the mold and mildew giving a fake clean. It might look ok or even good, but not great. You might be sorta happy with the price and the appearance. But consider this. You GET what you pay for in life.
Now lets say you shop QUALITY rather than price and just go ahead and pay us what we quoted. What do you actually get? A PRO with a $13,500 soft washer. BLEND MANIFOLD that does PERFECT chem mixes for exactly what each side or surface needs. Your NOT getting a batch mix and a guess! I can't even tell you all that can go wrong with that. But here is a few. We PRE WET all your plants, apply only what is needed on your siding. We water your plants before, during and after and will not kill plants, hurt plants or even burn a leaf. SO MUCH water comes down that it dilutes to absolutely NOTHING when done. The other guys? They are not going to spend all this extra time when they are getting paid the lowest possible price.
Don't give up here, the list goes on... How about "flash oxidizing" your siding? by spraying to hot a mix on a very hot surface? Your south side, in 80+ degree heat needs to be COOLED DOWN with water FIRST! if someone puts 1-2% solution on that without cooling it down first? Flash oxidization can happen and your siding is now chalky forever.
How about your Driveway that you spent thousands on? Would you like it all streaked up? Mr. low price is NOT going to spend the 10-15 minutes of time soaking your driveway and then CUTTING the solution mix down to 0.5% when he does your garage. He is NOT going to spend a half hour rinse, rinse, rinsing your driveway directly after so that not one drop of chem is left on it. You do realize this is like 45 extra minutes right? What happens if you do not do this? Your driveway is going to have streaks all over it.
Lets talk "channels" what's a channel? Its the vertical and horizontal channels that are all over your house that the siding bumps into. Literally dozens of them all over the place. They're dirt & mud collectors. MOST wash companies are going to wash your house "straight on" that is, the water flow is going to hit your gutters, trim, siding but NOT flush out every channel like mad. We DO and it takes about an hour to do this on every home. Hence the difference. 1 hour wash job for dirt cheap or 2-4 hour wash job that is basically a house DETAILING. Your house will be ridiculously clean when we are done. And it will last a LOT longer.
Now on to the very last company that gives you an insane price. What do you get? I expect they actually do a very good job BUT... you are getting employees. That is folks that are paid X amount of $$ per hour. They might be an 8 or 9 on the scale of 1-10 but they are NOT a 10. There's no way an employees cares as much about a business as the Owner/Operator. Now I've left out dozens of little things that I cannot even explain in a post like this or I'd be writing a book here. But suffice it to say we are the most HIGHLY detailed washers around. Thousands of homes completed. Constantly upgrading our service until we truly feel we have reached the absolute pinnacle of house washing. I'm convinced its impossible for you to get a better job. So in conclusion.. is your house ONLY worth a McDonalds happy meal price? Or would you like to just go ahead and spend that extra hundred bucks and get so much more its almost ridiculous? Why take your chances with newbies to try & grind down to the the lowest possible price?
