Dear Valued Customer,

We are excited to announce that, starting this Monday, we will be adding an additional truck to our routes to further improve service. What this means for you: your pickup day will remain the same; however, your pickup time may change significantly. We ask that if you do not already place your cart out the night before, you ensure it is out by 5:00 a.m. on your service day. Please remember, we guarantee the day of service, not the exact time.

Route Update – Friday, January 30, 2026

Monday and Tuesday’s routes will be made up tomorrow, Friday, January 30, 2026. We will have extra trucks on the road, so please have your cart at its designated pickup location by 5:00 a.m.

Friday’s regular route is expected to be pushed to Saturday. I will post a confirmation update tomorrow once this is finalized.

Due to the ongoing limitations at the county transfer station, trash loads are still being restricted.

We will be running Thursday’s route starting at 5:00 a.m., with two trucks on the road.
Please have all trash at your designated pickup location by 5:00 a.m.

Effective immediately, all afternoon pickups will be moved to morning pickups 5:00 a.m.

At this time, we still do not have a clear answer regarding service for Friday or Saturday, or the ability to make up Monday and Tuesday routes. We understand how frustrating this uncertainty can be and want to assure you that we are doing everything possible within the limits we’re facing.

We will provide another update tomorrow regarding Friday’s service.

Due to winter weather and ongoing complications with the county transfer station including restrictions on the limited amount of trash they are able to process we are facing a challenging situation this week.
At this time, we will be running Wednesday’s route, and two trucks will be on the road. That means normal afternoon pick ups will be much earlier. All Wednesday customers must have their trash out by 5:00 a.m. This notice applies to Wednesday routes only.
Unfortunately, we do not yet have a clear answer regarding service for Thursday, Friday, or the possibility of making up Monday or Tuesday routes. Please know that we are actively working through every available option and doing the very best we can under the circumstances.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during these difficult and unpredictable conditions. We will continue to provide updates as soon as more information becomes available.

We want to inform you of a temporary service issue that is beyond our control.
Lawrence county's transfer station has been temporarily shut down due to problems at the landfill in Walnut, Mississippi, where county waste is normally disposed.
Because of this closure, our ability to unload collected trash is not possible. We are actively working and exploring every possible option to reduce delays and keep routes running as smoothly as we can.
What this means for you:
• Some routes may run later than normal or next week.
Please know this situation is completely outside of HomeTown Haulers’ control, but we will share updates as soon as we receive new information from the county.

Due to winter weather and unsafe road conditions primarily on side roads we have decided not to run service on Monday, January 26, 2026.

At this time, we do not have a firm plan moving forward and will take things day by day as conditions improve. We will continue to provide updates as we learn more via mass email and Facebook.

Due to unforeseeable issues with the new truck, the service change announced in yesterday's email will be delayed. All routes will continue to operate on the regular schedule until further notice.
To ensure a smooth transaction, please have trash placed curbside by 5:00 a.m. on your scheduled service day.

Thursday pickup times may vary due to route growth and operational adjustments. We are placing two trucks on the route.

To ensure service, please have all trash carts placed curbside by 5:00 am on Thursday. Customers accustomed to afternoon pickups will experience much earlier service times.
