Tip of the week: Do you know why auto detailers use (or should be using) a clay bar?

“Claying” the car’s paint actually grabs and removes life's harsh contaminants such as overspray, road tar, environmental fallout, bug fossils.

We use the clay bar to prep the paint so when we wax the vehicle the wax is laying flat on the paint and not on everything that’s stuck to the paint. This allows the wax to bond to the paint’s surface and do what it was designed to do, protect the paint!

It improves the car's shine, smooths out the surface, and gives that glassy feel that we all love!

There’s a variety of clay bars on the market. This is what we are currently using.

Tip of the week: Do you have “exhaust stains” on the paint next to your exhaust pipes? That can be removed with a little cutting compound and an applicator pad. Couple pea size drops on the pad, a few circular rubs across the paint then wipe it off with a microfiber towel and b☄️☄️m, good as new!
