A great post from CSR Detailing in Pompano Beach, FL. Something for all vehicle owners who love their cars should note. Even after a 'good wash,' there are still bonded contaminants *in* the paint.

These are tiny speckles of brake rust and dirt and grime, on top of traffic film that gets kicked up and absorbed into, and baked into, our paint.

If you are not careful to have this dirt and grime removed every once in a while by a professional... The build-up can actually be rubbed back and forth into your paint over time, causing the deterioration of your paint's surface to happen at a much faster pace.

Even after a thorough wash there may be bonded contamination to your paint and exterior windows. For this reason all our wax, sealant, paint correction and ceramic coating jobs includes this process. Its not a detail unless its as clean as possible.
