Ali and his wife Trisha do some amazing work for our community! PBS did coverage on Crown Boxing and it perfectly showcased how Crown is not JUST a boxing gym. It is, very much, so much more! It’s a place of hope, growth, respect, understanding, discipline, compassion, kindness, and offers youth many types of life skills training from personal to job related, with a mix in the middle, helping autistic and neurodivergent kids gain job skills through work in the print shop (They make our work shirts!)

I was very excited to be part of this project!
Two boxing ring covers one 20x20 and the other 17x17. Heavy slip & “H20” proof canvas that won’t rip out or fray for very many years VS generic standard materials used in production, seeming to last him only six months to a year.
Custom made using top notch marine canvas and 18oz coated vinyl for lettering. (He told me I’ll be famous in the boxing world 💪☺️ I’ll take that compliment!)
Tom at Quality Awning Shop saved my hands on this one! He has a nifty pneumatic grommet punch and setter for the almost 200 needed. He also does, indeed, make quality awnings! Highly recommend:) (we don’t) (will send to Tom) (south side MLK)
