Helpful Hint for Decluttering your home:


1. Touch It Once Rule → If you pick it up, deal with it right away: donate, trash, or put it where it belongs.

2. One In, One Out Rule → Every time something new enters your home, one thing has to leave.

3. 20/20 Rule → If it costs less than $20 and you can replace it in 20 minutes, you don’t need to keep it “just in case.”

4. Favorite Rule → If it’s not one of your favorites, it’s clutter.

5. Box Rule → Put questionable items in a box for 30 days. If you never open it, donate it.

6. Surface Rule → Clear counters, tables, and desks every night. A clear surface equals a clear mind.

7. Enough Rule → Keep enough, not extras. One towel per person, one set of sheets per bed.
