ARMYWORM INVASION!

For only the second time in my 21+ year career armyworms have appeared in lawns in the Tri state area. Armyworms are typically a southern pest. Armyworms can turn big areas of your lawn brown overnight. They like to feed on the turf from dusk through the night. The lawn will need to be sprayed with an insecticide to kills the worms, and depending on the damage the lawn might need to be seeded in the fall. Lawn Care Route Specialist
Miles of Green Lawn Care is currently looking to hire a full-time lawn care route specialist. Job responsibilities and benefits are listed below.

Benefits
- Year round pay
- Starting pay $18-$22/hour or $38,000-$45,000 salary
- End of round bonuses (six total)
- Paid holidays
- 2 weeks (10 days) paid time off during the season (vacation/sick)
- 2-3 months of paid time off in the winter

Job Description
- Apply fertilizer and w**d control to residential/ commercial lawns on a daily basis.
- Be able to communicate with our customers on a daily basis.
- Diagnose problems with our customers lawns.
- Aerating and over seeding residential lawns.

Job Requirements

- Self-motivated to work alone

Miles of Green Lawn Care is currently hiring a fertilizer technician who will contribute to the success of our company. Our fertilizer technicians are responsible for fertilizer applications. They are also expected to provide excellent customer service on a daily basis.

Starting pay based on experience between $14-$18 an hour.

Minimum Qualifications:

-High School graduate or equivalent

-Valid drivers license with 3 points or less

-Previous lawn care experience and customer service preferred

-Basic mathematics skills

-Ability to lift 50 lbs on a consistent basis

-Self-motivated to work alone

-Must have dependable transportation to get to our office in the Maineville/Landon area
