I don’t think people realize how much starting this little cleaning business has meant to me. 🥹🩵
For years, being a stay-at-home mom was all I knew. My days revolved around my girls, the house, and making sure everyone else had what they needed. And I loved that part of my life, I really did. But somewhere along the way, I started wondering who I was outside of being a mom and wife.
When my youngest started school full-time, I knew I needed to figure out what was next for ME. I wanted to help financially, have something of my own, and feel like I was accomplishing something outside of motherhood.
I had cleaned houses before, but actually putting my name out there and starting a business? That was a whole different kind of scary.
And boy, has it been a learning experience. 🤣
I’ve had days where I’ve felt on top of the world and days where I’ve sat in my car completely overwhelmed, wondering how I’m supposed to keep up with everything. Running a business while raising a family is HARD. The mom guilt, the exhaustion, the constant feeling of being pulled in a million directions.
There are days my own house is a disaster because I’ve spent all day making someone else’s spotless. Days I’ve had to put being a mom before being a business owner. And days I’ve questioned whether I’m really cut out for all of this.
But here I am. Still showing up. Still learning. Still trying to make it work.
And I really need to thank the people who have made that possible. My clients. 🩵
Whether you’ve been with me since the beginning, took a chance on me when I was just starting out, booked me once, shared my posts, or recommended me to someone else… please know how much that means to me.
You’re not just filling a spot on my schedule. You’re helping a mom provide for her family and build something she once wasn’t even sure she was capable of.
Some of you have welcomed me into your homes week after week, trusted me with your spaces, and gotten to know me beyond just being the girl who cleans your house. Those relationships mean more than you’ll ever know.
Every booking, every referral, every kind word, and every bit of support has helped me get to where I am today. I truly wouldn’t be here without you, and I never take that for granted.
I’m not some big successful businesswoman with everything figured out. I’m just a mom who took a chance on herself and is doing her best to make something of it.
A little over a year in, and I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Not because it’s been easy, but because I kept going, even when life was anything but easy.
And more than anything, I’m grateful for every single person who has been part of this journey. 🩵✨
