To all my valued and and appreciated clients, potential clients, and friends...
A few of you have already heard about the last 2 weeks, but I haven't been able to reach many of you to let you know, so please, PLEASE read this entire post!
On October 10th, on my way to a job, while picking up an employee, my car was stolen out of her driveway. I borrowed a phone, called 911, reported it, then called my husband. He was able to track my phone (which I'd left in my car) and almost caught up to it when the thief stopped to gas up with MY debit card (which was in my purse, also in my car), but they sped off. He chased my car at speeds over 100 mph all the way to highlandville, where my $500 phone was chucked out the window of my car.
Here's where it gets REALLY aggrivating. With basically (literally) no help from any of the county or municipal law enforcement departments involved, my husband and I were able to locate the thief, the car, and have since then recovered the ejected phone & the car itself. However!!! The entire contents of my car had been removed...including my purse, retired Samsung phone, laptop, 3 backpacks of cleaning supplies and personal belongings, rolling toolbox of cleaning supplies and tools, ALL MY BUSINESS INFO, MY WORK SCHEDULE, AND MY CONTACT INFO FOR SEVERAL NEW AND POTENTIAL CLIENTS. Thousands of dollars worth of tools and supplies are gone, and I'm unable to contact many of my clients, due to the fact that the phone containing all this info is no longer accessible because the screen is shattered and completely useless. I've finally gotten a much cheaper replacement, but I can't access my business email without that phone. At least I haven't figured out a way yet...
IF YOU HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REACH ME OR MY BUSINESS ANY TIME IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS, I AM VERY SORRY!!
IF WE HAD AN APPOINTMENT, AND DIDN'T SHOW UP, I AM SO SO SORRY!
Without my planner, I rarely even know what day it is. Please contact me by phone or thru Facebook and reschedule.
